T-Mobile Improves 3.5G Speeds
T-Mobile
Good news for T-Mobile UK (that includes me) and specifically London based customers. T-Mobile has just announced it has increased the upload speeds by 4x and upgraded it's download speeds to HSUPA (7.2Mbs) on their 3G network.
It also states it's cutting data roaming charges in Europe by 80%, down to £1.50 MB in order to drive data usage across it's network users. Good news following the recent EU recommendations.
T-Mobile UK chief executive Jim Hyde said: "Mobile Broadband has come of age. Today, 25 per cent of new contract customers are signing up and we expect to quadruple our user base in 2008."
Sounds like good news for all!
